The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State and member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed called on Ankpa Son’s and Daughters home and in diaspora to always give back to the community, as this will keep their name in gold and till eternity be remembered for good deeds.

The Deputy Speaker while congratulating the Director General, National Publicity Center, Dr. Khasim Akor and Chairman of Ankpa LGA, Hon. Abagwu Ibrahim on their recognition of positive and excellent contribution in their various ways to the development of the land by Ankpa Elders Forum says, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu has curtailed and managed insecurity in Ankpa LGA and for this, amongst other notable achievements since assumption of office as chairman deserves to be commended.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed equally congratulated Dr. Khasim Akor who has personally taken up the light up projects by supplying and installing solar lights in Ankpa metropolis, provide job opportunities to youths, supply of computers and educational materials to schools within Ankpa LGA.
He appreciated the elders of Ankpa LGA who in his words have carefully observed and nominated the two illustrious son and appreciated them. He said he was once a beneficiary of this award and commend the elders for their “Eagles Eyes” in searching and appreciating them, as this will continue to serve as a booster.
The Ankpa Elders Forum usually organize end of year prayer and presentation of award of excellent service deserving son’s and daughter’s every year. This, encourages them to do more for the community
