The Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello advised journalist across the country to maintain professionalism, be good, fair and accurate In journalism, as this will continually project their image, profession, and the country at global stage in top shape.
Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State was on Thursday 6th January, 2022, represented by Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, Rt Hon Ahmed Mohammed as a special guest at the Niger Delta Annual Media Dinner/Workshop held at Warri, Delta State with several professional media organization across the Niger Delta and South South Region.
He spoke extensively on the need for journalist to keep telling everyone’s stories, as they are the image of events and the world, He noted that Journalism that stands for something and works for the people it represents is better journalism.
While appreciating the organizers of the event for recognizing and honoring the youngest and media friendly Governor in Nigeria, he urged journalist across the state to continue being silence-breakers, as media organization continues to play important role in societal, cultural and political change.
The Kogi State Deputy Speaker, Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed and the Honorable Commissioner for Information, Honorable Kingsley Fanwo were representatives at the annual media dinner held at BON hotels, Warri, Delta State.
