Idris King extends boreholes rehabilitation project to Orietesu ward in Okene LGA, As Women Pour Encomium on him

The Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. AbdulAzeez Idris King has extended his ongoing boreholes rehabilitation projects to Orietesu ward in Okene local government area of Kogi State.

The ongoing Renew Hope Boreholes Rehabilitation projects across Kogi central senatorial district was initiated by Honourable Abdulazeez Idris King aimed at eradicating the incessant scarcity of water in the district during dry season .

One of the resident of Orietesu ward Usman Isah commended the former lawmaker for the laudable projects, stressing that most boreholes in the ward has remained moribund for several years.

He praised him for rehabilitating the borehole, saying the entire residents of the ward would one day reciprocate the kind gesture back to him.

“Since this borehole packed off some years ago all our effort to revive it was in vain. We are happy that the former lawmaker in his usual magnanimity came on his own and commenced the rehabilitation and now we have portable water to drink and do other domestic activities with it.

“We will continue to pray and ask God Almighty to give him the good health and financial capacity to do more for the people at the rural communities. We also pray to God to bless him with more positions because we have observed that Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King is that type of a leader who has the interest of his people at heart at all time” he stated

 

Also speaking Mrs Rekiyat Aminu thank Honourable Idris King for giving the ward source of water and appealed for more basic social amenities for the people of Orietesu ward.

“All the women in Orietesu ward expressed their profound appreciation to the initiator of the project. We will take the ownership of the borehole by ensuring that nothing bad happen to the borehole”
