Kwara APC reads riot act to recalcitrant members, groups

The Kwara state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has read a riot act to its members and groups, warning them against intransigence.
The party particularly d
ecried the uncompromising attitude and unwillingness of such members and groups to moderate their positions despite the election of new state executives through credible and acceptable congress.
The state Secretary of the party, Mustapha Isowo, gave the warning
while receiving a group, Kwara4Kwara, at the state secretariat of the party in Ilorin, the state capital, adding that the organisation of a credible and acceptable state congress which ushered in the new executives has put end to the internecine war over party executives in the state.
This, the party scribe noted, is against the backdrop of the Ilorin High Court ruling of Wednesday 19th January, which struck out the suit challenging the authenticity of the state acting Caretaker Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari and the National Caretaker Chairman, Mai Mala Buni, over the suspension of Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as the Kwara State Caretaker Chairman of the party.
He said: “We are aware of attempts by recalcitrant members to use groups to destabilise the party.
“Equally, we shall not hesitate to enforce party discipline to ensure civility and orderliness within our party.
“The party is therefore advising all groups within and outside the party, especially sympathisers of political actors, to abide by its rules and regulations in all their activities.”
