Hon. (Prince) Bode Ogunmola Returned Unopposed for the Ogori-Magongo House of Assembly Constituency Seat.

Members of the All Progressive Congress in Ogori-Magongo Local Government has returned Hon. (Prince) Bode Ogunmola as the party’s flag bearer for the 2027 House of Assembly elections during the Party’s Primary election which was held today.

It was all shout of his campaign slogan, “Power belongs to God! Power belongs to God!!, Power belongs to God!!!”at the “carnival-like”primary election.

Declaring him the winner, the APC returning officer said the election was peaceful and held in line with the party’s guidelines.

Reacting to his victory, Hon. (Prince) Ogunmola stated that “the call to serve his people again just as his campaign slogan puts it, is divine.

He stated that he never nursed the ambition to run again for the position and that what has just happened, is strictly a divine call which must come through someone, saying God cannot come down for that purpose”.

He therefore,thanked all those who believed in him for accepting to be used as the vessels of God to ensure the fulfilment of the assignment.He assured his people of better services and more democracy dividends in the years ahead.

He was particularly grateful to the former Governor of Kogi state,His Excellency ,Alhaji Yahaya Bello, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of Kogi state and the entire leadership of the All Progressive Congress in. Kogi State for their guidance and support that has made it possible for him to emerge as the flag bearer of the party. Honourable Ogunmola, equally thanked all the Stakeholders and the Party Leadership for their belief in him and their support for him all through.He expressed his appreciation to his Constituents for their trust in him and assured them of his readiness to serve them more than ever before.
