SALLAH MESSAGE: KOGI ASSEMBLY CLERK GREETS GOVERNOR ODODO, KOGI PEOPLE, LEGISLATIVE STAFF; URGES RENEWED DEDICATION TO SERVICE

The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly, Alh Chogudo Ahmed Sule*, has felicitated with *His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo*, the people of Kogi State, and the staff of Kogi State House of Assembly on the occasion of Eid -el- Kabir celebration.

This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday and signed by the Deputy Clerk Administration and General Service, Mr. Adebayo Michael Aka.

Alh Chogudo Ahmed congratulated Muslim faithful across the state and beyond on the successful celebration of the sacred season of sacrifice and devotion.

The Clerk commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his unwavering commitment to good governance, infrastructural development, and the security of lives and property in the state.

“Under the leadership of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, Kogi State has witnessed deliberate efforts to strengthen security architecture, enhanced peace across communities, and executed policies that put the welfare of the people first.

“These strides deserve recognition and encouragement from all stakeholders,” the statement read.

Chogudo extended warm Sallah greetings to the people of Kogi State, urging them to uphold the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion that Eid -el- Kabir represents.

He called on citizens to continue to support government initiatives and to remain united in the pursuit of peace and progress.

The Clerk acknowledged the dedication, professionalism, and behind-the-scenes role of the legislative staff, in ensuring the smooth functioning of Kogi State House of Assembly.

“The Assembly’s ability to deliver on its legislative mandate rests largely on the commitment of our staff. Your diligence, even in demanding periods, has not gone unnoticed.”

“As we mark this Sallah, I urge you to rededicate yourselves to duty with greater focus, discipline, and service to the people of Kogi State,” he said.

He noted that the season should serve as a reminder of the importance of selflessness, teamwork, and integrity in public service, adding that the 8th Assembly remains committed to enacting laws that promote development and protect the interests of Kogites.

He prayed that the blessings of Eid al-Adha bring renewed hope, unity, and prosperity to Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
