Kogi East APC Elites Movement has honored the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Alfa Momoh Rabiu with the award of the most outstanding legislator.
In an event held earlier today, the Central Coordinator of the association, Hon Friday Okwoli described Hon Rabiu as a complete gentleman wrapped in humility, noting that he has known him over the years as a youth friendly leader who stands for all, irrespective of their affiliations.
Hon Okwoli while delivering his speech, thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for providing effective leadership for Kogites and commended him for making the youths members of top government functionaries in the State. He used the medium to pray that Governor Yahaya Bello led Kogi APC remembers the Elites Members and finds them qualified for appointments and other healthy engagements.
In the meeting, Honorable members representing Dekina II, Ofu, and Lokoja I, Honorables Enema Paul, Amodu Seidu, and Isa Tenimu lauded members of the association for finding their colleague, Hon Rabiu worthy of the award. They said the award is timely and deserving.
Hon Rabiu thanked the association for enlisting him as a beneficiary of the meritorious award. He said he’s only privileged to be given the award and promised to present their prayers before the relevant government officials.
