The coalition of political parties lead by Alh Ibrahim Mohammed and his team has passed a Vote of Confidence on the leadership of the National Chairman of ADC Chief Ralphs Nwosu. This is as a result of some “food is Ready politicians” trying to unseat him unjustly, politicians should always remember that somebody, somewhere is bearing the pain of survival, to sustain the party structures after every election is conducted. The sustainability of the party is left in the hands of National Working Committee (NWC), payment of rent, maintenance of the structures by holding regular meetings and day to day running of the party.
There are ways to handle internal squabbles of the party, not by going to the media to blow your thirty leaning in the public. What’s wrong with one year extension of tenure for the NWC that has sustained the party from the foundation. the greed of those properly called candidates of the party who cannot win presidential elections are creating divisions, internal ranging to bring the party down.
Due process of internal mechanisms of the party was followed to arrive at the extension, it is not possible to be a presidential candidate to be the National Chairman at the same time.
As serious politicians from Kogi State, we deemed this hullabaloo as waste of time when other political parties are setting up their campaign structures, we are struggling with the national working committee who have worked assiduously to making sure the party platform is made available to contest elections.
We are amazed at some toothless dragons saying NWC under the leadership of Chief Ralphs Nwosu never conduct elections, how was it possible to scale through the harmer of INEC during deregistration of political parties.
This vote of confidence represents a seal to all agitations, and to call on all Party faithful to work for the victory of the party which is Sacrosanct.
Our appeal to members of our great party is to drop all agitations and unite towards winning our elections come 2023.
Long live ADC, long live NWC, long live Federal Republic of Nigeria.
