The Traditional ruler of Lokoja in Kogi State, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi 111 has died at the aged of 80.
The Secretary, Lokoja Local Government Traditional Council, Muhammed Nalado Usman confirmed his death in a statement issued late Wednesday night, stressing that the traditional ruler died in a private hospital in Abuja after a brief illness.
Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi 111 ascended the throne in 1992 and reign for 30years before joining his ancestors.
According to the statement, The funeral prayer for his royal Highness,late the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Dr Muhammadu Kabir Maikarfi 111,OON would insha’Allah take place by 2 pm after zuhuri prayers
