2018 promotion implementation: You have done well- MHWUN Chairman Amari hails Gov. Bello

Kogi State Chairman of the Medical and Health Union of Nigeria, (MHWUN) Comrade Gabriel Amari says Governor Yahaya Bello has done well following his approval for the cash backing of promotions.

Comrade Amari stated this on Friday in his office while speaking on the Governor’s approval for the implementation of 2018 promotion for workers in Kogi State.

He stated that members of the union were enthusiastic over the news which they described as heart warming.

According to him, the measure by the Governor portrays his government in good light, explaining that when implemented, it will go along way at cementing the relationship between government and the organized labour.

Comrade Amari used the medium to commend the Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, (NLC) Comrade Onu Edoka for showing forth positively as exemplified through the strategic initiatives at attracting the attention of government to the plight of workers.

The labour leader maintained that the NLC boss in the state remains a force to reckon with having x-rayed his general administrative positions.

He assured that the labour guru will leave NLC better than he met it and appealed for total support.

Comrade Amari used the opportunity to equally commend the Head of Service, Mrs Hannah Odiyo and the Chairman of Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Barrister Muhammed Muss Tanko and other key players for their roles.

The the Medical and Health Union of Nigeria chairman also enjoined government to extend the gesture to local government Areas who are suffering from percentage payments.

It could be recalled that Governor Yahaya Bello recently approved the implementation of promotions for workers up to 2018, with similar approval for the conduct of outstanding promotions for 2019 to 2022.
