It is imperative to first of all commend thee independent National Electoral Commission for conducting one of the free, fair and credible digital elections in thee history of our hard earned democracy.
This commission has earned the accolades and encomium of well meaning Nigerians and international community since the commencement of the entire process .
We at the Inter – tribal Association of Nigeria ; Kogi State Chapter want to sincerely thank President Muhammadu Buhari for ensuring that Nigerian conduct an election devoid of vote buying where candidates can emerge with little it no resources. It is indeed a credible feet to adore .
In addendum, ITAN want to use this fora to appeal to the stakeholders and delegates of the All Progressive Congress( Kogi State Chapter) to support Pharm Abdulkkarim Muhammad Jamiu ASUKU as the flagbearer of the party gubernatorial candidate. These decision was agreed after a stakeholders dialogue and consultations across the state after a holistic appraisal and assessments of his track records of achievements in both public and private sector that will consolidate with Governor Yahya Bello achievements for continuity.
Pharm ASUKU has been a bridge builder, a unifer & a detribalized Nigerian who will foster unity among all ethnic groups in respective of religion affiliations among others .
Moreover , his contributions in ensuring peace and unity stability, education development, health care, human capital development, and women inclusiveness in governance; which are the cardinal focus point of Governor Yahaya Bello administration is the key ingredients that convinced the leadership of ITAN to align with his aspiration in the interest of common man in kogi .
Furthermore, At this period of global inflation worldwide , Kogi state needs a visionary leader that will consolidate the achievements of GYB in the interest of our generation and generation not yet born .
ITAN pledges to the APC Kogi State chapter that if Pharm ASUKU is elected as the gubernatorial candidate and flagbearer of the party will mobilize 75,000 youths across the state to vote for the party in the state Gubernatorial elections.
