In an effort to bring the people of the central senatorial district of kogi state together for the realization of Honourable Ahmed Usman Ododo Governorship victory, the APC governorship candidate, along with Egbira Dialogue group meet with Ebiras Traders Association and other Artisan for sensitization/mobilization of the electorates toward the November 11’th 2023 Governorship Election.
The leader of the group Professor Isah Habibat Jimoh appeal to the people to commence house to house sensitization ahead of the election, stressing the need for cooperation and unity for the benefit of the society.
Professor Jimoh urged the people to take advantage of the voter’s review Exercise, emphesing that coming out to vote in this November Governorship Election is important to the District and call on all the electorates to come out and cast their votes for Ahmed Usman Ododo.In his speach the chairman of Egbira Traders Association Mallam Abubakar Gomina thanks the Intellectual group for organizing this sensitization/mobilization visit, but observed that the present administration neglected the Association in terms of Development despite paying revenue to the government.He advice the group to use their connection to draw the government attention the Issue of percentage salaries to Local Government workers and that of the primary school Teachers, deplorable state of the road that lead to Government Hospital Obangede which has made it impossible for road user.He then assured the group that they will support and canvas for the APC candidate Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for continuity.In his remarks,the leader of the Traders Association Alhaji Wali Aliyu Bajeh commended the group for this important political interaction with all Artisan,trade union and other groups , promised that the traders Association will Mobilize the members and other interest group for the November Election.
