Why Lokoja-Koto Residents May Have Made The Right Choice In Electing Federal Lawmaker, Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye.

The core competencies of a legislator are quality Representation, Oversight and Legislation. Many Nigerians look at their lawmakers at the National Assembly as representatives who are in Abuja to represent themselves and their immediate families alone to the detriment of their constituents.
Legislators prioritize political posturing and self-aggrandizement over the actual business of legislation. Nigerians are disappointed in the quality of representation rendered by some of these lawmakers in view of the billions of taxpayers money expended on them.
One lawmaker who seems to be on the right track and have given reasons for his constituents to smile and say certainly they might have made the right choice is Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye , the Lawmaker representing Lokoja-Koto Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
The youthful Kogi state born politician has indeed carved a niche for himself due to his quality representation at the Green Chamber.
A key test for a legislative institution is how far it articulates and responds to issues of public concern, Danladi Aguye has been commendable in presenting the interest of his constituents at the Green Chamber thereby providing a direct link to governance for his people.
In terms of communication and approachability, Aguye is doing very well, he meets with his constituents weekly, listens to them and feels their pulse. The peaceful coexistence amongst his constituents remains a top priority for the Federal Lawmaker.
The quality time he spends amongst his people in getting feedback, analyzing and integrating information gathered is obviously paying off as Lokoja-Koto remains peaceful with high hopes of a turn around in their fortunes. Citizens need to feel that their representatives are listening to them and that their issues will be taken seriously and addressed.
Not only has he done well in keeping a good and profitable relationship with his constituents the lawmaker has also creditably done well in his oversight functions as a lawmaker. The ‘Mai’nasaran Girinya’ as popularly called by his numerous fans and wells wishers has made his mark in terms of transparency and project execution. The lawmaker makes sure each project initiated is of core and direct benefit to his constituents.
One thing is very clear, his steadfast commitment to the development of youths, women, children education, and the elderly have earned him a place in their history and hearts.

His mentorship and empowerment drive amongst the youth is worthy of praises, indeed Hon Danladi Suleiman Aguye may have risen as the right choice for the electorates of Lokoja-Koto Federal constituency.
