~ As He Hands Over Palliatives(Rice & Cash) To All The Ward Councillors For Onward Distribution To All the Citizens In The Local Govt.
The Executive Chairman of Ogori-Magongo LGA Rt.Hon. Goke Oparison earlier today at the local government Secretariat flagged off and handed over Palliatives( Rice and Cash) to all the 10 wards Councillors for onward distribution to all the citizens in the local government.
Hon. Oparison, who hailed the Federal Goverment effort in cushioning the effect of Fuel Subsidy removal on citizens also commended the governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his leadership acumen and proactive interference in ensuring that the palliative gets to the grassroots.
While handing the palliatives to the 10 Councilors for onward distribution, “Oparison charged the councillors to distribute the palliatives with the fear of God.
“Every household across the wards must benefit from these palliatives irrespective of their religious or political affiliation”
Hon. Oparison, according to the directives of the Governor said, “6 bags of rice including cash should be shared to each of the polling units in the local government”.
Oparison urged those saddled with the responsibility of distribution Of the palliatives not to hoard or being bias in sharing the palliatives and also warned that any one found wanting would face the full wrath of law.
