The 8th Assembly member representing Mopamuro State Constituency, Hon Olawumi expresses his deepest appreciation for the gesture of grading and upgrading of the royal stools of Mopamuro State Constituency and the entire State.
It is on record that the Traditional Council had never had it this rosy ever since the creation of the State and such is a testament to one of the tenets of the new direction blue print anchored on justice, Equity and Fairness.
Attending to press men at the State House of Assembly Complex, Hon Olawumi stresses the importance of Traditional Rulers in our society noting that they play useful roles in mediating between the people and the State and enhancing national identity aside their conventional roles which includes resolving minor conflicts and for them perform all these responsibilities with an open mind, the Executive Governor of our dear State knows when and how to do the needful to make them happy hence he beamed his light on them once again.
I want to equally State without equivocation that this gesture from His Excellency is far from politics as being peddled by drowning opposition parties in the State, Hon Olawumi added.
I congratulate all the Traditional Rulers in Mopamuro State Constituency in order of hierarchy for their respective new status. It is my earnest prayer and utmost expectation that your reigns will continue to bring tranquility and development to our dear Constituency.
Your Excellency Sir, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, gratitude they say is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others. It is on this belief I return to say a very big thank you for this grassroot blessings you accorded us in our respective constituencies.
