kogites are all one of the same people, unity of purpose matters.
For peace and unity to reign,it’s pertinent for kogites to come to terms, as well agreed with the outcome of the already announced november 11th governorship election.
Most times, I have learnt how to keep quite mostly when I can’t use my tongue to count my teeth. The credo of accusation and counter–accusation that lack merits is not different from blackmailing and barbaric judgemental submission. So far so good, I respect always people that has sincere motives on their engagement. Kogi State citizens cannot continue to live in isolation, or do things of the same way differently and expect mutual coexistence and positive transformation. Borrowing a leaf from Anwar Saddat, ‘the only way peace and development can be attain in a given society is for the subjects to acts as one big happy family rather than many separated ones’.It’s significant for kogites to project inclination rather than declination and as well sabotage any external influence of divisibility.
After the dusk is the dawn. The task of amassing various interest and potentials towards creating a formidable force, through a common front, is a collective mission which if abandoned, could cause a mechanical breakdown in our developmental fabric, at present and in the future prospect. However, for the realization of tangible credos in the state, kogites must be purposeful in their poll opinion. The hatches of political indifference, in the state should be buried in order to break developmental jinx. The state should cooperatively focused on induction of developmental milestones.
It’s worthy of note that, diversity and inclusion are two fundamental elements essential for creating an environment that fosters unity, promotes growth and enhances development. To create a thriving and a successful Confluence state, members must embrace their differences and encourage mutual understanding. How can we embrace unity when the state is divideded against itself? As kogites, we all should muster enough political will to confront the socio-political differences in our domain. All hands must be on deck to protect the propensity of the state. On the other hand, all kogites should mastermind principles of creating an environment where everyone feels valued, respected with equal opportunities to participate and contribute to the transformation of the state to its desired dreamland, through the leadership of the elected Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
Kogites should bear in mind that, life cannot subsists in a society except by reciprocal concessions. The divided attention created by some jingoists, is an improvised explosion which has exploded the regional line, induced intoleration and disparities, which if not curtailed timely, the State risks unwarranted political conflagration. And this could alter the progressive pace of the geopolitical zones and jeopardizing the state corporate entity. Susan Howatch once stated that, “Hatred and enmity make things worse, it stops one from coming to terms with all the horrors and grief”. It can be deduce from the above line that, divided attention in the state has inculcated a loose centre of concentration and mirage the spirits of mutual existence.
There is need to uphold unity of purpose and collective agenda; imbibe the ideology of one family mechanisms and combat the lacuna of divisional basis. I also urge the present and the incoming political leaders in various portfolios to use their appointments to affect the economy of the state meaningfully. The catastrophic segregation mechanism exhibited must not impede the harnessing of multi available opportunities in our beloved land. In addition, the importance of togetherness in a society like ours, can never be neglected if futuristic development is to be projected or sustained.Election should not divide us, momentum determination and guest for genuine success of this regime should be our ideological bedrock.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance.
God bless the good people of Kogi State.
