2023 PRESIDENCY:
It’s the turns of North Central zone ,says Doctor Halimat Alfa.

A Chieftain of the ruling All Prograssives Congress from the North Central zone and a board of trustees member of the pan African organisation ‘The AREWA CONSULTATIVE FORUM’, Doctor Halimat Alfa has lend unfettered support for the President to come from the North Central zone in 2023 when president Mohammodu Buhari’s administration will exist.

Doctor Halimat Alfa who is also a board of Trustees member of Amana Farmers and Grains Suppliers Association of Nigeria gave the assertion while addressing Newsmen during the official inauguration of kogi State chapter of the New executive members in the ancient City of Lokoja , Kogi state.

She also applauded members of Kogi state house of assembly for passing a resolution declaring its support for Governor Yahaya Bello presidential ambition to rule the country in 2023 insisting that the legislative backing is critically germane as the north central zone of the country had not been supported by the north east and north west zone to have shot as elected President from the region.
”i’m from the north central (Kogi state) and i’m today a board of trustees members of AREWA CONSULTIVE FORUM,’i always bares my mind if there is any boring issue.
‘We are all AREWAs,the north-west and north east have been taken the Presidential shot and now north Central should be availed the opportunity to produce the next president’

According to her, never again should the zone should be made to play a second fiddle role in the nation’s politics as it has rendered intellectual property support to the north and by extension to the Country.
Buttressing her position further Doctor Halimat Alfa appealed to the north east and west to support the candidature of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state to enable the north central zone have a shot come 2023.
‘General Yakubu Gowon ruled the country at the youth age of 32-years insisting that a young Northern boy has come out and all Nigerians should support his presidential ambition’.
She also urged the State government to make a parcel of land available in the 21-local Government areas to enable the association to secure loans for farmers to improve food sufficiency ,create jobs opportunity, reduce hunger,and insecurity ranging from kidnapping, robbery and sundries security threat facing the society.
‘We have 18-millions registered members (farmers) across the country and I wants our Youth and Women to embrace this Association and be registered at their your various localities to boost farming especially as the Federal Government under president Mohammodu Buhari administration is giving out loan through the Central Bank of Nigeria and other commercial banks” .
