Lokoja is blessed to have an indomitable man. A leader whose political records have broken many records of his contemporaries as a capacity political-focused-minded person.
Hon Idris Ndako is an expert in the political game of Lokoja, a philanthropist and respectable businessman who owns conglomerates of properties. For many years he was recognized as a political Master schemer whose virtues many described as a legendary man leader in the person of Lokoja great leaders of our time.
The Balogun of Oworo-born political battle ax is a tiger of masses emancipation when he became a Man in the business of empowering Young Lokojans, especially to the people of Lokoja || , a constituency he is representing in the state House of Assembly for the second term.
His performance in the area of skills acquisition and Youth/Women Empowerment was a record that today is beyond the capacity of other lovers of his dear constituency, an area with vast arable land.
Throughout his life, Ndako’s many contributions to humanity remain a reference of leadership credence that will be better utilized when he became the servant that will serve his constituency. It is on record that his strength is measured up in serving his people as a good representative at both the National Assembly and state level being the point of his call. This is where he can do the best, perform and release his full potentials as a good leader.
While as a Deputy Majority Leader of the state Assembly, he empowered, he influenced the jobs, provided opportunities, and did a lot of projects connected to infrastructure and education. Everyone, everywhere Ndako is talking of the town that the termagant of the masses liberation has come to serve humanity.
In 2022 was a page of his political journey unveiled with the young, old, and people of diverse races and clans in Lokoja-Koto Federal Constituency seeing him a promising man with no traces of religions, tribal sentiments, void of nepotism.
Being in the All Progressive Congress (APC) as his party of sure banker to serve humanity with a delegates structure of the masses, who are his good wills pushing his agenda is what is changing the arithmetic thinking of political pundits that from the blues a man with people’s mandate has come to tell another story. Story of freedom, the story of political emancipation, he will certainly tell the story of liberation from the shackles of poverty and tackle the bedeviling state of underdevelopment of Lokoja-Koto federal constituency which has become shamble as a result of lack of Political Know-how by the government machinery during the primary. The rest is now history.
By implications, the intelligent former Deputy Majority Leader will bring galvanize the socio-economic nature of Lokoja. He will contribute positively to nation-building and make sure he makes lawa that will bring the constituency into an enviable place in the eyes of the nation and the constituency project funds will be utilised better.
Scholars of politics kept on wondering how comes the magic behind Ndako’s political goodwill and strength made him be winning the heart of the people of Lokoja-Koto. Unknown to all political students the Man won their heart, not because of any political Father, but because his work for the masses is behind him, pushing him toward the noble course- the calling mark of service.
Take it or leave it, Ndako is one man politician whose closeness to the grassroots and direct electoral voters stands tall than any, there is none of his second in Lokoja in terms of constant touch with the electorates.
At the moment, his line of duty as a member representing Lokoja || and philanthropist does not only stops there, but he crossed the bar for his goodwill extending it to other constituency across Lokoja | and Koto. He helped hundreds of farmers with fertilizers across the LGAs. He empowered many with business capital and skills acquisitions in his constituency and beyond
Ndako is now seen as the super Supporter of the masses who is having the idea of creating people-oriented policies, evoke constituency projects in the area of Agriculture, Education, Empowerment, and social services like the provision of water in many communities lacking such, renovation of health and schools infrastructures in his blueprint agenda to salvage the constituency. This is where his strength will be laying and hovering around.
Plus or minus, take it or leave it Ndàko has bought the people’s conscience with his good works. Not because of his much involvement in the process of party politics but because of his good political will of working for the masses.
With his name, his political scheming ability, and what he has done and still doing, it’s not a surprise or arguably seen that nobody either in Lokoja or Koto even those feeling that they control the party from the Kogi Government House seat of power will beat him because his pure heart is answering the call of many people. I know this, when it comes to the votes of the electorate, hundreds of times and at many times they will prefer Ndako.
My line of thinking, therefore, His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello and APC critical stakeholders should unite to politically save the party from collapse, that the likes of Hon. Idris Ndako and many others are the saving grace of the party. Primary has come and gone, more needs to be done. Fighting or trying to scheme him out of the party system is unfortunate to say is harm being done to the party rather than good. But for Ndako whatever the side of the coin faces is a smooth ride on to his next political journey. Meaning he will have a smooth rocking right in 2023 whatever the game turns out to be because he endeared himself to the masses.
A word they said is enough to a wise person and a stitch in times saves nine. Let APC have a good thinking package to save the party in the interest of all party loyalists supporting Ndako come 2023.
