Kogi Deputy Speaker, Rt Hon. Alfa Momoh Rabiu and other leaders from Ankpa local government paid courtesy call on Governor Yahaya Bello earlier today in his home, Agasa, Okene.
Hon Rabiu while speaking, congratulated the Governor on the occasion of Eid celebration and applauded him for his giant strides in infrastructural development. He furthered his speech by praying that the Governor reconstructs the deplorable Ankpa-Abejukolo Road, Ankpa General Hospital, while also stating other pressing needs of the Ankpa people.
The Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello having listened to the prayers, thanked the delegation for the visit and assured them of his untiring support towards the development of Ankpa in particular, and Igala land in general. He assured that work will commence on the said road with immediate effect, and other pressing issues would be attended to accordingly.
The visit had in attendance the Deputy Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Ankpa local government Council Chairman, Ejeh Ankpa, Ankpa Traditional Chiefs, Chief Imam of Ankpa, Ankpa CAN President, Ankpa legislative Council leader, the Provost, Kogi State College of Education, The Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, and well meaning Ankpa sons and daughters.
