My dear people of Ankpa 2,
1. Congratulations to all of us on the completion of our tenure as the member representing Ankpa II State Constituency at Kogi State House of Assembly.
2. As a people, we commenced this journey with faith, love, and harmony. We started as a zealous acquaintance who were starving, and whose only feed became good governance.
3. You found me worthy of your trust and votes. As a people, you singlehandedly voted for me in two political cycles to serve you, the good people of Ankpa 2 State Constituency.
4. No doubt they were challenges, obstacles we never envisaged, obstructions we never felt its presence even though they were too close. With divine help, synergy and absolute cordiality, we stumbled on these problems and we conquered them, to the glory of God.
5. My people of Enjema and Ojoku districts, I cannot thank you enough for being a reliable constituents and allies. What would I have done, achieved without you?
6. As a legislator and one whom you have trusted over time, we did our best to never let you down. This you have seen via our life changing policies and activities. The confidence you reposed in us to succeed was however justified.
7. Now we have a relationship that has grown beyond leadership/followership relationship. We have strengthened the ties of kingship to the level that brotherhood has been instituted. We can only nurture it collectively. May it live to perish never.
8. I will be here to root for your success. You are also deserving of the privilege you gave me in 8years. When it is your turn to serve our people, I shall support you without mincing actions.
9. My family and I are forever grateful to you. You shall also be celebrated.
10. Finally, I sincerely thank Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, top government functionaries in Ankpa, the traditional rulers, well meaning individuals and the people of Ankpa for being there for us throughout our stay in office.
