It is with great joy and gratitude that I write this appreciation message to you all. As I complete my four years as your state legislator, I want to express how honored I have been to represent you in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
Serving you has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I have learned so much from working with you and advocating for our community’s needs. Together, we have accomplished a lot and made significant progress in improving the lives of our people.
We have recorded successes in all facets, I came with six major areas of focus, and to the glory of God Almighty, we achieved a lot, if not all.
We made history. As your representative, I sponsored major bills which are today, laws in Kogi State. Amongst them is the Law Establishing Kogi State Youth Development Commission, Rights of People with Disability, and Disability Commission, Etc. I also moved and followed to the latter, motions of public importance; amongst them are motion calling on the state Government to review, re-award the contract for the rehabilitation of Ankpa Township road, which is today, a success.
I flagged off one of the biggest water projects which cut across the five wards in Ankpa 1, we gave out scholarships, empowered the youths, support businesses, provision of basic and social amenities, and ensure my relationship with constituents, elders, traditional institutions and our women were very cordial and efficient.
To God, be the glory.
I want to thank you all for your support, encouragement, and feedback during my tenure. Your contributions have been invaluable in shaping my policies and actions, and I could not have done it without you.
As I leave office, I am launching the AHMED MOHAMMED FOUNDATION, a charity organization aimed at catering to the needs of the less privileged in our community. Through this foundation, we will provide support and assistance to those who need it the most, ensuring that everyone has an equal chance to succeed.
Once again, I thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of representing you these past four years. I am grateful for your trust and belief in me. I assure you that I will continue to work tirelessly towards uplifting our community even outside of office.
