*He was born in the mid 60’s in Oke-Ere, Yagba west local government area of Kogi state*
*He is happily married and blessed with children*
*He is a christian by faith*
*Igwe as popularly called is an house hold name in Yagba west politics and by extension Yagba federal constituency*
*Before his adventure in politics, he was a major distributor of ago allied products*
*He is a dogged goal getter, a grass root politician, a successful business man*
*He is endowed with innovative ideas and his passion for youth emancipation and development is unparalleled*
*He is vast in knowledge of grass root politicking and understand the political intrigues and calculations*
*As an experienced grassroot mobilizer he has occupied several post of responsibilities at the grass root and has met the much desired expectations of the office*
*He was once elected as the councillor representing the good people of Odo-Ere/Akata/Oke-Ere ward, the largest ward in the local government area*
*He has adequately and creditably represented the good people of Odo-Ere/Akata/,Oke-Ere ward well*
*He was the coordinator of Obasanjo/Atiku campaign organization for Yagba west and he delivered the local government with wide margin to the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party*
*He has served as the local government party chairman of Peoples Democratic Party for Yagba west*
*Under his watch as the PDP party chairman for Yagba west, he delivered all the elective positions from presidential, governorship, senatorial, house of representatives, house of assembly, chairmanship and all the wards fourteen councillors to now defunct Peoples Democratic Party*
*Tunji Aro intimidating outstanding performance as the then local government PDP party chairman catapulted to be elected as the party state assistant legal adviser*
*Tunji Aro is always passionate and highly principled with any course he believes*
*As a goal getter and grass root mobilizer of no match he understand the political terrain of Yagba west and very conversant with key political actors of each wards and the modus operandi in achieving the targeted political goal*
*Tunji Aro was also appointed as the DG of Henry Tuesday Abimbola, Itesiwaju Campaign Organization for Yagba Federal House Of Representatives*
*He was once appointed as a member of state committee on fertilizer distribution
In this period, the fertilizers get to the intending beneficiaries(farmers) at the grass root
Due to his loyalty, steadfastness, commitment , dedication and most importantly his political antecedents in assisting several people in actualizing their political dreams, he was compensated and appointed as a liaison officer of Yagba west local government for five months
Under this short period he embarked on several infrastructural development, grading and sand filling of roads, revisiting some abandoned projects like DHU Odo-Ere, Roofing of the local government annex secretariat at Egbe
Procurement of drugs to the District Health Units across various communities, Procurement of Tractors for agricultural practice, Purchase of land for casava and maize plantation for the local government at Odo-Eri
He introduced youths and women empowerment initiative, assisting some in trade and vocational training
He embarked on a thorough holistic screening of Yagba west local government staff headed by Chief Gbenga Asagun to prevent leakages and was very successful
Also worthy of note is his administration patronage and respect for the party, party dues were paid as at when due throughout his short staying in office as the council boss

It was on record how Tunji Aro strategically fixed his political followers and supporters to different political positions and offices in time past as supervisors, special advisers, elected councillors, secretaries to the local government council, coordinators of reputable party aspirants, party delegates to congresses and conventions to mention but few
*Above all while he was in office as the liaison officer of the council, he was accessible and run an open door policy*
*Tunji Aro was a major factor and one of the critical stakeholder of APC that led the party to victory in Yagba west in 2015 Kogi gubernatorial general election*
*Even in the just concluded 2019 Kogi November gubernatorial general election against all odds he was still able to delivered the four polling units in his community Oke-Ere to the ruling All Progressive Congress for gubernatorial and senatorial rerun with wide margin*
