The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba sent a congratulatory message to Governor Yahaya Bello who clocked 47 on Saturday.
Buba, who spoke in a statement she personally signed on Saturday praised Governor Bello’s “courage, forthrightness and diligence in providing exemplary and broadminded leadership for Kogi State and Nigeria.
She said the leadership example set by Gov. Bello in Kogi State has steadily provided a ladder for budding leaders to grow and contribute to national development.
“Governor Bello greatest strength lies in his ability to look beyond religious, ethnic and political stereotyping, embracing the reality of Kogi State and Nigeria as one entity,” Buba was quoted as saying.
Buba described Gov. Bello as a patriot and political leader who has contributed so much to the growth of Kogi State and the nation’s democracy.
“As a patriot, politician and leader, you have contributed so much to the advancement of our nation’s democracy and nurtured many individuals to greatness. I wish you more years of sound health, peace and glory, as you celebrate. Happy birthday, Your Excellency, the digital Governor of our time” she added.
Buba, maintained that Governor Bello has marked his name in the history book for impacting positively for the development of Kogi State.
According to the commissioner, the 47 years of Governor Bello on earth has been blessing to humanity adding that, as he celebrate this memorable day, Almighty Allah will continue to protect him for humanity.
She noted that Governor Bello remains a dogged fighter who always stand for the truth and justice which was totally displayed in the just concluded All Progressive Congress, (APC), primary.
