COVID-19: Onoba, APC Chairmanship Aspirant urges Constituents to adhere to Govt’s Directive

Mrs Jane Onoba, the APC Chairmanship Aspirant of Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area, has urged the people of the council to adhere strictly to the government order directing the people to stay at home as measure taken to contain the outbreak of COIVD-19 in Kogi State.

A statement signed by Onoba and made available to journalists on Monday in Lokoja, urged the constituents to also endeavor to practice and maintain personal and environmental hygiene, regularly hand washing with soap and water and/or the use of hand sanitizers.

She furthet charged the people to avoid hand shake and keep social distancing from individuals with signs and symptoms such as coughing, sneezing. Similarly, avoid unnecessary gathering.

She assured the people of the State Government commitment under the leadership of Gov. Yahaya Bello, to continue to prioritise the well being of the people and ensure their access to quality healthcare delivery.

The Ogori-Magongo APC chairmanship aspirant, commended the Squadron Committee under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja, for the measures they have put in place to ensure the containment and spread of the novel coron avirus in the state.

She further charged the constituents to live in harmony with one another and obey the constituted authority at the local government level.
