EBIRA SAVIOUR RESEARCH HERBALISTS ASSOCIATION (ESRHA) INSTALLS NEW ELDER CHIEF

The leaders and members of Ebira Saviour Research HERBALISTS Association(ESRHA) have inaugurated a new Elder Chief, Chief Native Doctor, Ojo isah Muhammed. Performing the traditional rites at the residence of the life president of ESRHA at Idanuhua-Ogsminana, Chief Dr. Ezekiel Aheruvoh charged the herbal chief to carry everybody along in the scheme of things in the Association. Chief Dr Ezekiel Aheruvoh who was elated of the unity of members of the Association, reminded them to be their brothers keeper in whatever they do with the fear of God in their mind. He urged herbal practitioners to be objective, respect the people and community conscientiously. The ESRHA maintained that the new elder chief of the association becomes an ambassador of the Association and he is free to represent the Association anywhere in Kogi central and kogi state at large.

He called for cooperation of all members to the new herbal chief and prayed to God to guide him in his quest to serve the association and humanity. Speaking, the Secretary of ESRHA, Native Dr. Yakubu Sheidu who went memory lane since the formation of ESRHA in 1903, maintained that the association has remained United, strong and indivisible in its charter to serve people and transformation of life and society with the fear of God. He stated that ESRHA has been magnanimous in appointing herbal leaders to represent none natives in Ebiraland which has added values to herbal practice in kogi central and kogi state in particular. In a remark, the Vice president of ESRHA, Nat. Dr. Siyaka Aliyu Achichi applauded the members of the Association and reminded them to know their roots by being diligent in their herbal practice to earn respect of the people and not for commercialization of the herbal profession. The new herbal elder chief, chief Ojo Isah Muhammad appreciated all for the turnout and assured them to lead by example in his new position. He called for support of all the members where all hands should be on deck for good and acceptable herbal practice in kogi state and beyond. In the vote of thanks, the public relations officer one of the Association, Native Dr. Momohjimoh Monday commended the members for their cooperation and their role to make the occasion a success. He called all members to rally round the new elder chief by being his eyes and ears in their communities and areas and report any threat to the peace of members and association for amicable resolution. He thanked those in government positions of authority for providing enabling environment for the Association to thrive in kogi state.
