Edward Onoja Leads Kogi Delegation on a Condolence Visit to the Family of Nicholas Ofodile
His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja on Thursday night, on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello led the Kogi State delegation to the home of deceased Chief Nicholas Ofodile, popularly known as “Chucks”, who owns premium Chucks Supermarket in Lokoja; who died on Lokoja/Abuja express way in the hands of bandits on 10th of June, 2020.
The delegation consists of The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike, State Chairman of the APC Alhaji Abdullahi Dollar, The Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Sunday Faleke, The Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Hon. Yunusa Olofu, The Chairman, Kogi State Board of Internal Revenue, KGRS, Hon. Aliu Inda Salami, The Special Adviser on Domestic Affairs to the Governor, Hon. Kabiru Onyene and others.
The team prayed with the bereaved family, begging God to assuage them with the strength to bear the unfortunate lost that is tripartite to Kogi State, the Igbo Community in Kogi State and the family left behind.
