I, Hon.Musa Jimoh Omiata, Member Representing Yagba East State Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly wish to congratulate the entire Muslim Ummah on the completion of special fasting of the month of Ramadan 1441A.H.
To all Muslims across the globe the holy month of Ramadan is full of activities symbolises by fasting which are observed with the sole aim of moving closer to Almighty Allah in prayers, reading from the scriptures, preaching sermons, lesser hajj and terminated with Eid prayer in obedience to the commandment of Allah.
This year’s Ramadan is timely and most significantly too, as the entire global community is seeking the face of God in fighting and containing the ravaging Corona virus pandemic threatening the existence of human race. Oh Allah! as the holy month pulse for the year we are confident that the blessings of the month, the prayers of the devotees and the entire population has brought to a permanent end of the outbreak, its pains, economic loses and all crises associated with covid 19.
Consequently, as the Representative of the people I want to seize the opportunity to commend the Federal Government, State Government, Individuals, Corporate bodies, Community Associations and International Donor Agencies for coming to the aid of humanity in the most trying time in the history of mankind. I wish to specifically commend SEYDA,IPU and PAN OKUN for providing effective platforms for reaching out to the people across the constituency. Our reward, is certainly with God.
Once again, on behalf of my family and myself I congratulate our Muslim community on Ed-el Fitri and I enjoin all to obey government directives in achieving the containment of the virus soonest and lets adhere to safety rules while celebrating.
