Endless Attack on Herdsmen : Nine cows, three fulanis killed in a fresh Attack in Egume.
In a battle seems not to end, another attack was launched on the Fulani herdsmen in Egume, Dekina local government area resulting to the death of three Fulani men and the killing of nine cows.
The Assistant Secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Kogi State chapter, Mallam Ademu Abubakar who spoke unbehalf of the Chairman.Alhaji Wakili Yusuf Damina told Nigerian Trend that the unexpected attack was coming after the last attack 2 months back. According to him,
“This was another attack on our innocent members who are gruesomely murdered in their cold blood on the 14th May 2020. The repeated killings of our people in Egume, igala land is becoming unbearable .
“This time around they lunch the attach at our camp , they started shooting at them without any offence at all. Those killed during the attack include Tine Idris, Fatu Idris and Abdulkareem Saleh.
He mentioned that the attack was reported to the DPO at Police station in Egume for prompt action adding that the DPO quickly organised his men and took the corpses to the station.
