Enjema Crisis: Kogi Deputy Speaker calls for peace, urges security agencies to beef up in protecting the people.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, RT. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed condemned the recent violence in Enjema community which has claim lives and destruction of properties.

The legislator who expressed disappointment at the rate at which youths take laws into their hands to destroy properties, kill innocent people over issues that can be resolved amicably said, we must as a people not take laws into our hands when there are disagreements. He called on the youths to remain peaceful, while urging stakeholders, traditional rulers and security agencies to as a matter of urgency come up with measures that will bring peace and equally the perpetrators to book.

He equally applaud the state government effort in ensuring that the security of lives and property of Kogites is it’s topmost priority.
