FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TASKS TO RESOLVE FACE OFF WITH ASUU FOR THE COUNTRY’S INTEREST

The chairman batish group of schools , Pastor Theophilous Ajala has asked the Federal government to weigh the huge implication of the continued strike action that had lasted for eight months now to prevent the total collapse of public Universities in the country.

Pastor Theophilous Ajala made the appeal during the graduation, speech and Prize Given day of Batish group of schools which was held at the school premises in Lokoja on Tuesday.

The cleric who is also the pastor in charge of Batish church in Lokoja and its environs regretted that continually piled up of graduands from various secondary School in the country without the Universities to admit them is time tomb

The servant of God therefore urged the Federal government to immediately enter into a pact with the striking and dieing Universities lecturers to solved the impasse that had shot down public institutions across the country.

Pastor Theophilous Ajala traced the failure of the Federal government to enter into dialogue table with the ASUU because their children are under going studies abroad and the action of those in office is not logical.

He challenged parents and guardians to be fully prepared to deploy their permanent voter cards to change a system that has brought untold hardship on suffering families

His words: ‘our graduands are thoroughly groomed by our knowledgeable and experience teachers to face any challenges that will befall them in the future”.

In a speech,the school’s parents teachers Association’s chairman, High Chief Gabriel Bamidele Adeniyi showered encomiums on the proprietor and staff of the school for inculcating discipline, knowledge, and modern skills to their children.

High Chief Gabriel Adeniyi also asked the Federal government to immediately looked into the ASUU grievances to allowed Nigeria Students resume classes

The graduation , speech and Prize Given day attracted the present of dignitaries from all walk of life as it was marked in grand style, thrilling audience with lots of education presentations , music and donations of gift to deserving students.
