The National League of Veteran Journalists (NALVEJ), Kwara State chapter is to organise a reception in honour of three members of the league, who recently bagged Fellowship of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
The reception will hold on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Press Centre of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), GRA, Ilorin at 11am.
The awardees are Alhaji Saadu Salahu, Special Adviser on Strategy to Kwara State Governor, Oloriewe AbdulRaeem Adedoyin, a one time commissioner for Information in the state; and Dr (Mrs) Saudat AbdulBaki, a Mass Communications teacher at the University of Ilorin.
A statement signed by NALVEJ chairman, Alh Tunde Akanbi and the publicity secretary, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, urged members of the league to troop out enmassse to honour their colleagues who have made the league and Kwara State proud.
