GYB Supreme Court Victory, An Attestation of His Acceptability-Toyin Kamaldeem
An All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship for Ijumu Local Government in the December 12th Council Poll in Kogi State, Dr. Toyin Kamaldeem says the historic welcome that greeted Governor Yahaya Bello’s arrival in Lokoja after his. Supreme Court Victory is an attestation to his acceptability and popularity.
Dr. Kamaldeem told Newsmen in Lokoja that Governor Bello is a man of the masses, hence the massive turnout that welcomed him in Lokoja and his country home, Okene.
“People came from the Eastern flank, Central and Western parts of the state to welcome their Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. The Governor doesn’t believe in ethnocentric and reclusive preminocivity. He believes in oneness, togetherness and you can see that is what he is preaching.” He stated.
The APC Aspirant described the call by the Governor for the opposition to join him in moving the state forward as a good quality of a leader who have the interest of the people at heart.
“He is a man with a large heart and I think the time has come for the oppositions to forget the past, summon the courage and join the present administration towards the socio economic development of Kogi State.” Dr. Kamaldeem added.
He congratulated Governor Bello on the Apex Court triumph and expressed optimism that the state will witness more prosperity in this second lap.
On his aspiration in the forthcoming Local Government Election, Dr. Kamaldeem said he is in the race to change the narrative of Ijumu Local Government, saying if given the mandate, he will focus on engaging women and youths in profitable ventures.
He stated that Ijumu Local Government deserve to be more than what it is today, assuring that he will provide purposeful leadership that will be of pride to all, especially Ijumu founding fathers.
The Chairman Aspirant solicited the unflinching support of Ijumu sons and daughters to achieve his vision for the Local Government Area.
