*Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor Mourns Attah Igala’s Passing*
The lawmaker representing Igalamela/Odolu Constituency, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor has described as “saddening and shocking,” the demise of the Attah Igala, and Chairman, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, HRM Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni II.
“The late Attah was a great and upright man. He stood for justice and equality, and ruled with great courage and vision. He ultimately dedicated his time to advocating for the growth and development of Igala Kingdom and Kogi State at large and was able to achieve so much within his relatively short reign. He will be terribly missed.
“On behalf of the people of Igalamela/Odolu Constituency, I offer my sincerely condolences to the Royal family, and the entire people of Igala Kingdom.
The lawmaker also called on the people to pray for the peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased Attah Igala.
