The names of some of our political leaders in Ajaokuta local government that have resigned and reeled in Ajaokuta political firemament overtime has eventually dimmed and nit heard of. They seem to be slipping fast into history. The likes of current political champions in the area now are; Hon. Raimi Egidi Sani, honorable member, House of Representatives, the immediate past two time member House of Representatives, Hon. Alhaji Lawal Idirisu, are now thundering everyday, everywhere, reigning as seasoned politicians.

The names of such failed politicians are; Hon. Mohammed Sadiq, former member House of Representatives; Hon. (Doctor) Saka Haruna, former Commissioner for Health; Engr. Onotu, former Commissioner for Special Duties under governor Idris Ichalla Wada, Hon. Musa Akaba, and Hon. A.T. Baba, are former Kogi State House Assembly members; and some few others to mention in Ajaokuta political landscape, have washed through the airwaves and continue to. They are dying politicians who have runed out of ideas and stream; they must have now decided to choose between dignified political retirement or go on political sabbatical leave.

Fortunately enough, one name, however, continue to push from bottom in the kind of politics in Ajaokuta political landscape, is no other person but Honourable Ismaila Suleiman Odoh, former Supervisory Councilor and Immediate past Legislative Aide (LA) to the immediate past Senator that represent Kogi Central Senatorial district at the National Assembly.

Honorable Ismaila Odoh, can be said to be a product of political camps of Late Alhaji Sule Adama, (of Blessed Memory), former Caretaker Chairman, Ajaokuta local government; also with Honorable Mohamed Sadiq political camp; also with Honorable Lawal Idirisu; and presently with Honorable Raimi Egidi Sani camp. Honorable Odoh, would therefore boast how much he knows the character and the political style of each political leaders in the area, even if he now turned full circle to lay his political tent with Honourable Raimi Sani Egidi, in order to ensure landslide victory for the party and the candidate in the last house of Reps election in the area. His total commitment to ensure the victory was misunderstood by some of his political detractors. While some however argued that it is Raimi’s large chest (money) that made him oscillate that way, in giving full support to Raimi’s political project. Hon. Ismaila Odoh, however, rejected such notion and says; “Am supporting Raimi Sani, because I discovered in him that he is decisive and have all the strategies needed to win an election, and he is result-oriented, judging from his past track records”.
.
Odoh is seen around the region as very cerebral, a HND graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, loves argument, so long as only words to convince anybody around him that possess deep knowledge in politics and administrative experience, because he has served some dynamic political leaders and acquired political experiences that could no doubt equip him hugely to deliver effectively in any further political assignment that could be assigned to him in due course.

His vast knowledge in grassroots politics seems to be boosted by several positions he has held, as Supervisory Councilor for Works; Legislative Aide to immediate past Senator Oseni Yakubu; APC Ajaokuta local Treasurer; Member/Stakeholder, Tinubu Support Group (TSG); member, Gamji Coalition for Tinubu, etc.

It is notewhile, that, Ismaila Odoh, seems to fear no political battles. He has ernerged as the face to look out for, the man to watch in the emerging Ajaokuta political climate, volatile as it may appears. He is always commended for his political sagacity and valour.

As the proverbial saying and insist, that; “people should reap where they sewed”, this saying has signifies that Hon. Ismaila Odoh, who has undoubtedly committed and worked tirelessly to the victory of the party, APC and its candidate in the last house of Reps election, may deserve political patronage of appointment as a reward.
