Kabba Area Commander of Nigeria Police Force Visits Ijumu Local Government; Sues for Peaceful Co-existence

The Kabba Area commander of Nigeria Police Force,ACP,Dauda J. Lasisi paid an official visit to Ijumu Local Government.
He was received at the local government council secretariat,Iyara.
ACP, Dauda J.Lasisi who pointed out his motives of moving round is to familiarize himself with the chief security officer of the local government and to also talk to his men, Nigeria police force.
He commended the senior special assistant on security in the local government, Hon.Taufiq Isa for always been on top of the security situation in his domain.He admonished the traditional rulers to play their roles effectively towards ensuring that peace continue to strive in their various domain.He also urged them to continue to live peacefully and harmoniously with one another,irrespective of political differences.
The Chairman, Forum of senior special assistants on security and senior special assistant on security to the executive governor of Kogi State, in charge of Ijumu local government, Hon.Taufiq Isa appreciates the Nigeria police force and other sister agencies for their cooperation in making his domain safe,He noted that he will not relent in delivering the core mandate of securing the lives and property of his citizens.
The chief security officer of the local government,in his usual pro-active ways on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, donated an operational Toyota sienna vehicle and a sum of two hundred thousands naira (#200,000) to Ijumu vigilante services,hundred thousands naira(#100,000) to Joint task force,two hundred thousands naira(#200,000) each to police divisional headquarters, Ayetoro Gbede and Iyara for the refurbishment of their operational vehicle.
He equally charged the security agencies to be upright and committed to their duty,as security is a joint effort.
Also in attendance at the interactive meeting is,traditional rulers,union representatives, political parties and speculators.
