*Kabba/Bunu Lock Down: Kogi Will Prove To The World That It Is Coronavirus Free- Lawmaker*
The member representing Yagba East Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Jimoh Musa Omiata says Kogi state is Covid-19 free.
Alhaji Omiata while speaking at an event said despite the Lock Down in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, the State will prove to the World that there is no Coronavirus in Kogi.
“NCDC Imposed an Index Case on Kogi and the Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has declared a Lock Down in Kabba/Bunu for contact tracing. I strongly believe that in the next 14 days, Kogi will tell the whole world that we are Covid-19 free.” the Lawmaker said.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello and the Squadron Committee on Covid-19 ably led by the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja for curtailing the virus in the state.
According to him, with the political will and proactive steps taken by the State Government, the State will defeat the deadly Disease.
