In a bid to ease the burden of high cost of educational materials for parents in Ankpa local government area of Kogi state, the Lawmaker representing Ankpa 1 in the Kogi state House of Assembly, Lawal Akus has donated books to students in both primary and secondary schools in his constituency.
Presenting the books at the Ankpa Local Government Special Day School, Lawal Akus restated his commitment to positive affect the lives of his constituents by improving on their living and educational standards.
The Lawmaker who said that education remains the best legacy to bequeath to the younger generation promised to sustain the gesture as well as the provisions of basic social amenities to his constituents .
Lawal Akus who had been the Chairman House Standing Committee on Finance in the last six months has continued to provide succour both in the Health and Education sectors in his constituency.
