The Special Assistant on New Media to KOGI Speaker, Matthew Kolawole, Mr. Julius Abel has resigned.
According to Abel in a letter addressed to the State Secretary to Logo State Government, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade said his resignation was to pursue his political ambition.
Though the Aide did not specified the political ambition, but close associate of his said he may likely contest for Mopamuro State House of Assembly.
His early resignation may also not be unconnected to the new electoral act that disallow political appointees from voting or being voted for in a primary election unless they resigned.
Abel in a separate letter also eulogised the Speaker for the opportunity to serve him as an aide.
