Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission Congratulated Gov- Yahaya Bello on his Affirmation by the Supreme Court

The Members of the Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission have congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on his affirmation by the Supreme Court as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State in the November sixteenth gubernatorial election of last year.

The Members in a congratulatory message signed by the Chairman, Alhaji Andas Abdulmalik said the judgement of the Court in favour of the Governor and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja was a victory for the progress and development of State.

They noted that the tussle coming to an end by the verdict of the Apex Court on the legality of the Governor’s re-election, it was time to make accelerated progress in both human and capital development as promised by the Present Administration to the people of the State

The Commission Members called on Co- contestants in the election to rally round the Governor and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja to build the State of our dream now that the cases were over bringing to close all forms of distractions that have hitherto derailed activities in the State.

According to the Members, more needed to be done to improve upon the lives of the people in terms of provision of infrastructural projects for the wellbeing of the Citizens.

They averred that the Governor and his Team more than ever needed the collective efforts of all to actualize the loafty goals of the incumbent administration for the people and appealed to all the candidates that lost in the election to join in fostering the course of the state.

Inspite the current economic challenge they noted, that with sincerity of purpose and good will more could still be achieved.

While thanking the people of the State for their resilience and keeping faith with the present administration, they expressed hope in the quality leadership of the Governor to take the State to an enviable height and to the admiration of all.

On their part, they promised to sustain their commitment in ensuring a vibrant House of Assembly Service Commission geared towards strengthening the workings of the State Legislature for the good governace of the State.
