Progressives workers in lokoja local government area have decried high level of injustice in the moves to elevate a junior officer ahead of a senior on level 16 as Director of local government..
In a press statement sent to Nigerian Trend recently signed by the president, Mallam Isa Yussuf stated that those behind the plot refused to follow due processes, the proposed scheming was lopsided and was based on “cash and carry”
“We are writing on behalf of well meaning workers of the local government to draw the attention of the state government, local government service commission and ministry of local government on our ordeal and injustice that is ongoing within the local government system in lokoja
“The right person to occupy the seat of the Director of local government is Mr. Kassim Ismael who is presently the head of department of Health in the local government on level 16 being the most senior while some overzealous men are moving round to lobby for his junior who never got to become head of department in his works department”,
According to them”the outgoing DLG is from Lokoja 1 so how should the next one come again from the same Lokoja 1? If politically analysed as some people think.
” We therefore called on the Chief of staff to the Executive Governor of kogi state,Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku to use his respected office to right the wrongs and investigate the matter before concluding
