….Pledges Commitment to Sustaining Gov. Bello’s Developmental Legacies
The Caretaker Chairman of Mopamuro Local Government, Hon. Ademola Destiny Bello, has today 11th January, 2024, assumed office officially.
The occasion which was well attended by party leaders including the Member representing the constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Jacob Olawumi Sam, critical stakeholders and party faithful started with special prayers by the leadership of Christian Association of Nigeria .
This was followed by an official handing over done by the leadership of the Local Government.
The Chairman had a meeting with the staff of the local government, requesting for their cooperation and maximum commitment in the delivery of their duties so as to collectively develop and give the local government a face-lift in human and capital developments. The chairman also promised to ensure that the narrative and negative perception about governance and workers welfare are changed positively so as to motivate everyone to give their respective bits in supporting the government.
In the same vein, the chairman also had a security meeting with the leadership of the various Security Agencies in the local government.
He emphasized the importance of security within the local government and her borders in fostering development and prosperity which has been the major concern of Governor Yahaya Bello’ s led administration.
He assured the security personnel heads of his readiness and availability at all times towards ensuring that they deliver in their responsibilities of securing the people and their properties.
While appreciating the presence and support of the traditional royal fathers as led by the Chairman, Mopamuro Traditional Council, Oba Alfred Ayedogbon for their roles in the society, the chairman equally appreciated the support of everyone present, assuring them that he would ensure that the gains of democracy as embodied by Governor Yahaya Bello is replicated in Mopamuro.
