The National Orientation Agency in Benue has advocated absolute compliance of all Banks with Government’s directives of imbibing basic protective measures against covid-19.
The State Director, Mr Richard Audu in a statement said he was surprised with the clustering of customers at some bank premises despite awareness created on the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mr Audu appealed to the Management of banks to as a matter of necessity, employ proactive measures to avoid crowd at the bank premises for long hours and ensure that absolute physical distancing is maintained while the use of face masks for both staff and customers is strictly adhered to.
The NOA state Director also encouraged the Banks with shortage of manpower to use the Agency’s WAI BRIGADE volunteers for crowd control while also calling on all stakeholders and the public to heed to Government’s preventive directives, especially with the report of an additional covid-19 case in the State
