On the 3rd of April, 2024, it was a momentous and historic day as His Royal Majesty, Saaki Alh Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje the Ohinoyi Ebira, hosted a Heroic Reception to welcome home one of her subjects, Champion Sarah Ovayioza Mathew, a Gold Medalist in Arm Wrestling at the recent All African Games, held in Accra, Ghana.
Ovayioza Sarah Mathew emerged victorious, representing Nigeria with unparalleled skill and determination. She swept all twelve rounds of the tournament, earning the titles of Nigerian and African Champion in Arm Wrestling.
The good people of Ebira, buzzed with excitement as the Palace of Ohinoyi Ebira overflowed with attendees from across the length and breath of Ebiraland.
The historic event saw the presence of Ohis, religious leaders, traditional rulers, who were at the palace to celebrate one of their own adding colour and glamour to the celebration. Inspite fasting, attendees remained engaged and enthralled throughout the four-hour program.

* 3 Gold medals Weightlifting at the IGP Nigeria Police championship, Abuja 2022.

* 1 Gold, 1 Silver Medals at the National Armwrestlig championship, Lagos state 2022
* 2 Gold Medals at the Bamitonia Arm Wrestling Championship, Lagos 2023
* 2 Gold Medals at the Arm Wrestlig African Championship, Accra 2023
* 2 Gold Medals at the all Africa Games, Accra 2024.
Responding, Ovayioza . Mathew expressed gratitude to God and her coach, Madam Sefiya, for her unwavering support and inspiration, promising to aim for greater heights in future Olympic Games and World Competitions. She pledged to bring home the World Champion Gold Medal with the support of His Royal Majesty and all well-wishers.
His Royal Majesty, Dr. Anaje commended Ovayioza for her outstanding achievements, recounting how she was surprised when he personally congratulated her on her victory. He lauded her for making Nigeria proud and showcasing the excellence of Ebira people to the world. He concluded his speech by promising Ovayioza all the support she needed to continue in this her unique endeavours.
