OPEN DISPLAY OF MYOPIC KNOWLEDGE OF MOPA POLITICAL HISTORY BY MR TOPE DANIEL

BY: EBENEZER AKANLE

NO doubt about it, our motive at odole youths council has been misunderstood by few minds from the enclave of the aspirant he is working for, which is the subject matter of our protest.
We are not talking of the political history of Mopa, but the basic commonwealth that binds the Ten wards together to form an entity: MOPAMURO LGA. Taking a huge with the general history of who has gotten what between the two axis spoils the fun because it will further expose the greediness and the history of repression odole has been subjected to.
1. You spoke about Hon S. F. A oloke being an elected member of the house of assembly. May I pray this prayer for you, Mr Tope! May God bless you with such membership of the state House of Assembly, Amen. This is a man who was elected alright, but never saw the four wall of the complex due to the sudden death of Gen. Sani Abatcha which ended that transition. But for sinister motive, you are counting it.
2. Chief shola ojo was a member of the house of representatives just as late R. T. Alege from ileteju was a member of the house of representatives too decades before chief ojo.
3.You talked about chief Ade John Ayo and Hon. J. B. Ampitan being a commissioner, hmmmmmm… in your words, can 10 commissioner equals a federal minister that late political icon of Mopa, Chief Daniyan occupied? Perhaps, he is no more from ileteju.
4. Hon. Olu Ezekiel is from araromi you said, but you have forgotten to add that, he is base in ileteju ward 04 precisely where he got married, built his house, registered there as an electorate, used ward 04 registered voter and party membership card, got voted in and until today still recides there and infact is the PDP leader of the ward. His wife died recently and was buried in ileteju, what other evidence do you need to know he has changed residency for ever!
5. Chief Clarence was a member of kogi state house of assembly, just as late political master from ileteju, Chief Awoniyi was a member of the Senate and to borrow from your words again, can you compare that again? Definitely, senate is not in same category with state house of assembly!
6. Since you harped on the story of the pertanity of Hon Ampitan, why do you then ascribed her to odole then? Perhaps, Gov. Yahaya Bello should answer your question in that regard.!
Mr Tope, we are not joining issues with you, but simply stating the obvious, ileteju had dominated the LGA headship for too long.
Why don’t you take a cue from the Amuro people. They don’t flog themselves on who gets what at a particular time. They have it well laid out. No wonder, today, they are in charge politically.
Let’s take back that glory which greed, selfishness is set to destroy if we allow it.
Swallow your pride and let ODOLE do it for ones.
