Provost Kogi State College of Education Technical Mrs Olusola Victoria Jagboro has described the State Commissioner of Environment Hon .Victor Ade Omofaiye as a visionary leader who has the growth and Development of the Education sector and indeed other sectors paramount in his mind.
The Provost who made this assertion when he paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner in his office in Lokoja during the week ,recalled that when the Commissioner was the Chairman House Committee on Education made laudable contributions to the developments of the College.
According to the Provost ,anytime the then Chairman of the Committee visited the College ,as part of the oversight function of the House ,his inputs ,observations and suggestions greatly assisted the growth of the Institution.
While wishing the Commissioner a successful tenure ,the Provost noted she had no doubt on the sterling qualities of the Commissioner to deliver and move the Ministry to greater heights judging from excellent performances as a Legislator.
The Commissioner in his response noted that the Provost is a hardworking and result oriented person who had worked hard to move the College from infancy to the present status .He recalled that during the House Committee’s visits ,when he was in the House,the dexterity with which the Provost employed to Marshall her requests , made the Governor to continue to make promises and approved her requests urging her to continue to give her best to the Institution..
The Commission thanked her for the giant Portrait she presented stressing that himself and the family will continue to cherish the kind gesture. .
