Road to 2023:Ankpa 1 PDP elders and youth forum endorse PYY for assembly job .
The executive elders forum of the people’s Democratic Party(PDP) in Ankpa 1 constituency of Kogi State have endorsed Dr. Prince Yakub Yakub (PYY) as their sole anointed for the House of Assembly job in the 2023 general elections.

The endorsement was made on Friday when PYY and his team paid a Consultation visit to PDP Excos in Some areas of his constituency of Ankpa Local Government Areas of the State.
In his remarks, PYY said the consultation visit was to officially make known his intention to represent the good people of Ankpa 1 constituency and solicit their support.
According to him, as far as Ankara 1 constituency is concerned, PYY is part and parcel of the people, especially the grassroots.
He expressed his confidence in the people to ensure his victory both in the primary and the general elections.
He urged his supporters to ensure peace and avoid quarrelling with supporters of other aspirants, saying, ”we are all one and working towards the progress of our party and constituency.
‘We need the support of everybody in the party as well as in the opposition,’ he reiterated.
He appreciated the people for their massive turnout to honour his consultation as well as the endorsement, saying he would not disappoint them.
PYY further urged the people to support his ambition of becoming their representative , while appealing to Ankpa 1 delegates to fully support his project not just with their votes , but their prayers.
He urged them to be united and support the party to emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.
PYY and his team further paid a consultation visit to some communities in the constituency , where he interacted with the people at the grassroots and solicited their support.
The spoke person , who spoke on behalf of the youth, promised PYY of the 100 per cent support.
“PYY is our own in these communities, we know him very well; he grew up here and we have agreed to give him our total support,’ The spokesman said.
A majority of the political actors in the constituency were present at the consultation visit.The elders enjoined the people to unite and support their own and always stand by the truth, and remember God in whatsoever they do.
On their part,they said it was a privilege to have one of their own contesting for House of assembly , and admonished the people to unite together and support ambition.
