*Senator Oseni receives award from Coalition of Political Parties*
As well meaning Nigerians and organizations continue to pour encomiums on Senator Yakubu Oseni for the recent commissioning of his constituency projects, the Nigerian National Volunteer Service in collaboration with the Coalition of Political Parties, Kogi State Chapter have given him *Award of Best Performing Senator*
The Coalition premised the award on the high level of consistency maintained by Senator Oseni on his drive to change narrative of Kogi Central representation through various infrastructural and empowerment schemes.
While speaking for other political parties, Hon. Ilyas Badanga who described Senator Oseni as the best in the administration of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello maintained that painstaking assessment of the lawmaker’s infrastructural intervention depicts that all members of other parties stand to benefit from them.
Hon. Badanga who is the Senior Special Assistant on Inter-Party Affairs to Governor Yahaya Bello stressed that irrespective of political party affiliations, Senator Oseni whose constituency projects have been pro-masses ought to be awarded in order to awaken other political leaders to their statutory responsibilities.
“We have taken this bold step to award him because he is one of a kind in this political dispensation. His skill acquisition centres, school renovations, construction of roads and above all, the building of 600 capacity JAMB centre in Kogi Central will definitely benefit people across political parties. These projects will also outlive his stay at the National Assembly “, he said.
While responding, Senator Yakubu Oseni who aptly dedicated the award to Governor Yahaya Bello and the good people of Kogi Central Senatorial District pledged to do more for his constituents.
He promised that he would never relent in putting the interest of his people at the front burner, while urging his teeming supporters to continue to support the current administration at both state and national level.
