The Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Kogi State on Security(Yagba West) today at about 1pm arrived Ogbom, a community in Yagba East LGA, kogi state to sympathies with the people over the reported killings of 2 people by unknown bandits.
The news of the incident was brought to the notice of SSA Security (Yagba West) who immediately mobilized security agents to the border town to forestall not only the spill over of the crisis to Ogga in Yagba West but also to bring the situation under control so as to avoid break down of law and order.
The SSA, hon. Tade Oshaloto personally led the team of security agents and the Joint Task Force from Yagba West to join his counterpart from Yagba East, Hon. Wokili to the scene of the incident and the Palace of His Royal Highness, Oba of Ogbom.
Hon. Tade while at the palace condoled with His Highness and the good people of Ogbom community over the incident, assured the SSA Security(Yagba East) of more synergies in the areas of security between the two LGA’s
The incident was reported to have claimed two lives while one person was severely injured and lying critical at ECWA hospital, Egbe.
Tade appealed to the people to be calm assuring them that the perpetrators of this carnage will be unraveled and brought to justice.
