STUDENTS SECURITY: NAKOSS National To Partner With Kogi State Security Trust Fund.
In the quest to further provide an enabling environment that will be safe and secured for students and educational activities, the leadership of the Apex Students body of Kogi State (Nakoss National) has deem it fit to partner and collaborate with Kogi State Security Trust Fund (SSTF) for a possible solution to curb the menance of social vices on various campus of the State owned tertiary institutions.
This move of security collaboration is a timely move ahead of the speculations of resumption that’s been rumored on social media, the partnership with the security agency is to profer proactive solutions towards curbing the ugly activities of those evil perpetrators in our various tertiary institutions.
The Chairman of Kogi State Security Trust fund in person of Hon. Abdulmalik Teina who officially resumed duty/office earlier this month, reaffirmed the readiness of the State government to match up with any group that might want to disturb the peace of the State of which the students environment (Campuses) won’t be an exemption.
The chairman further applauds the leadership of NAKOSS National for seeking collaboration with state security agency in other to curb terrorism, cultism etc in various students community, noting that it will help ease the work of security operatives if there’s a cordial relationship between the students leadership and security operatives.
Comrade Enyo-Ojo Stephen Shaibu thanked the Chairman for granting his team audience and further appeal to Kogi Students to denounce cultism, violence as they prepare to resume any moment from next month as speculated.
The Vice President of the association, Comrade Joseph Solomon Tunde while congratulating the SSTF Chairman, stressed the need for the Security Fund to capture campuses and watch social vices on campus, as these are the main loopholes of insecurity on campuses.
