We are grateful to God Almighty for for His guidance throughout our first one hundred (100) days in office and we are thrilled to avail the public with some of the things Hon. Bashiru Rasheed Okatengwu has done within this time;
1. The rehabilitation and construction of tap outpost of the council secretariat borehole to serve the local government secretariat and host community.
2. The flagoff of Health care unit in Uro Community of Nagazi/Farm Centre ward.
3. The flagoff of Adavi Local Government Science Secondary School at Inumupa in Adavi-Eba ward which will commence academic activities fully next session.
4. The facilitation and flagoff of additional ward and fencing of the local government Primary Health Care Centre.
5. The facilitation of a Sienna Bus to convey local government security agencies on patrol across the eleven (11) wards with the aim of boosting the security services in the best interest of Adavi citizens and residents.
6. The establishment of Osara market in Osara community to ease trade for the residents, most importantly, students of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara.
7. The strategic improvement of the local government Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to support governance and quality service delivery.
8. Offsetting students tuition fees in various secondary schools and higher institutions through his educational outreach scheme.
9. The relocation of Zariagi/Kabba-Junction market back to the former location for security and safety purpose, and also ensuring it total control by the local government administration.
10. The flagoff of a new market at Irepeni community in Nagazi/Farm Centre Ward.
11. Payment of over thirty (30) less privileged students waec fees in order to help actualize their educational and academic goals/pursuit.
We also request your support as we continue to do more and positively impact our local government. We are concerned about the security and development of Adavi local government and we pray that God continues to guide us through the right path, (Amen).
